I have CS6 and recently had to update my Mac OS to Sierra.
I can understand if AE doesn't work on Sierra, but it seems odd, because all the other apps in CS6 still work.
I've tried to reinstall, but no luck. Is this a bug, or is somehow Adobe making the requirements for AE more stringent than the rest of the package?

Please confirm the version of Reader installed on the machine.

The opacity of your of your brush, most likely isn't at 100%. So every time you paint a new stroke by holding down the mouse key, you will add opacity to the layer until it reaches 100%. You can set the entire layer to a lower opacity and your brush at 100%. The screen shots shows, on the left, two brush strokes, with the brush set at 100%. The right shows the brush set at 45%.

I'm seeing this as well. I've tried different recording formats (MOV or MP4 (LPCM)) and system frequencies on my GH4 and Premiere cuts off at least a second or two of audio in the end. This just started happening recently and I can only guess it was with a recent update.
Oh, I also imported some Blackmagic footage from an Ursa Mini and it did the same thing. So, it's not just the GH4.
If it isn't, t !his should be high priority at Adobe.
I have taken to renaming the files as .mpeg before import, it's a temporary fix, but it does the trick for now.

I am trying to open previously recorded meetings on adobe connect for my iPad. I copy the link into the app and click next and I opens safari and it says I need to download the add-in. How can I view these meetings on my iPad or iPhone? They open just fine on my PC.

how to bring the second copies back to the iMac HD.
The recommended method goes like this-
1. In the Lr folder panel, Make a note of the folder name * on the external drive that you want on the internal HD
2. Exit from Lightroom and use the operating system (Finder/File Explorer) to COPY that whole folder of images from the 'external' to the 'internal' within a suitable location for photos. (Hint: do not choose the desktop)
3. Open Lightroom, select this same folder in the Folder panel of the library view. (as it appears on the external HD)
4. R-CLick the folder and choose "Update folder location..."
5. A Finder window opens, navigate to the new folder location in the internal HD.
6. Click [Select Folder]
7. When Lr now is looking at the images on the internal HD successfully, you can use the OS to later delete the folder on the external HD
(and of necessity you do have other photo backups somewhere else- right?)
* If you have a hierarchy of folders you want to move, you can select the topmost folder and copy it complete with sub-folders, and use the method above.
For the "Second Copies" folders -you should consider them a temporary backup only. They can be deleted after you are sure you have other more permanent backups done that will 'mirror' or match your internal-HD folder structure and photos. (which Lr does not do!)
Also for the next import- Check the Destination panel.!!
Is Vinyl Master inverting the image? Have you opened the PDF alone to see what the colors look like?
Does the color in the file effect which color vinyl you will be cutting?

I had something similar. I uninstalled the software, removed my preferences and then reinstalled. This has helped me most of the time.
Do you have any 3rd party software "plugins" for illustrator? If so, try removing those first to see if things stabilize.

I couldn't log in yesterday. (PC - Chrome Browser) I was being redirected to the classic version and then the progress bar would just spin ad infinitum. I was finally able to log on on my Chromebook because that browser is not supported so it worked. I guess? at that point I was able to import my .fdx from my writer and then clicked on teh "Try new version" to see if that would let me log in on my desktop. It did, so then I made a copy of my script and started tracking changes. I got done. Was very excited about the work and looked to export back to .fdx to send back to my writer. But I learned I couldn't do that. then learned that the only way I could get a pdf of the script was to print to pdf. but I didn't do that because (mistakenly) I thougth some of the problems I was having would surely be solved by a re-boot. so instead of getting a copy of my script out of Story in some readable format, I saved and shut things down.
When I tried to start up and log back in, I was able to log in just fine, but could not open the script with the changes. The progress squares just keep spinning. for ever. So i tried logging into the classic version. I got in and saw the chagned script. I tried opening it and it says it won't parse, cause the old version can't open scripts from the new version.
So I cannot access the changes I spent hours last night making to the script.
How do I get a copy of that chagned script off of your system? Can you send me that in a pdf so I can see what I did?
Please help. I go into production next month. I've recreated as many of the changes as I can remember, but I know there are some that can't remember.

When something isn't working try using the search help field at the top right corner of the app.
There are about 10 million switches in After Effects and if you don't study up you'll never figure out how to find them.
You don't open animation presets, you apply them to layers using the menu or the effects and presets panel. I hate to sound cranky but this is really basic stuff that you should study up on.

I would go to File, Export, Export As... and choose "JPG". When you click Export, it will give you more options on the resolution for your file.

If you start from a collection, the saved tiff will get saved back into the same collection. This is my preferred workflow, because it is easy to find the tiff in LR when I return. This even works if you save the file as a PSD to some other location of your drive, and give it a new name. It didn't always work this way, but thankfully that got fixed.
