Tried everything, nothing is working. Our internet speed is 4 mbps, then also slowest download speed from Adobe Servers while downloading the apps. Pour compléter les bonnes propositions de CIA_Design, je te dirais de'essayer aussi de démarrer Photoshop en mode Administrateur.
De toutes manières, il serait souhaitable d’aller voir dans l'observateur d’événements dans le journal de Windows quels sont les infos relatives au moment de l'arrêt de Photoshop car il peut y avoir beaucoup de causes dont des plugin et logiciels qui interfèrent. De mémoire, lavasoft, bytefence, adblock et autres peuvent perturber le fonctionnement de certains logiciels.
Le pilote de la carte graphique peut aussi être corrompu et donc une réinstallation peut toujours être utile.

I now appreciate you know how to import and develop the Nikon files with Lightroom- great.
But the CR2 files still a mystery.
When you attempt to import CR2 into Lr (what Lr number version- btw?) do you get any error messages of any kind? If so- what is the exact wording of the error?
Just because you see thumbnails in Finder does not rule out corrupt raw images- the thumbnail could be just the embedded jpg preview that Finder can interpret and show.
If all else fails, there may be users reading this thread that could test one of the CR2 images. (Upload to a dropbox folder and share the link)

The way to do this similarly in Photoshop would be (as mentioned before, by @Kshinabery212) to use noise - but also to use layer masks. Here's an example of what I think you're talking (although - this is a quick and dirty, so don't expect great artistry in this demo
I used color to get the idea across here. Create a Solid Color adjustment layer. Then create a Clipping Mask so that the shape defines where the upper layer is seen (you can also alt/option click in between the layers in the layers panel). Then, on your MASK add a solid grey or a black to white gradient to give the Noise Filter something to work with that's not very harsh. Then, add the Noise filter to taste. After doing that, on the MASK, paint away the effect using either an opaque or translucent soft edged paintbrush to specify what you want to see and how. Hopefully, this'll help.

Which is better, worse, or equivalent: a) To simply move the folder containing all the project files. Or b) Using Project Manager to Collect Files to a new location, and use that folder?
Regarding the Locator: I've used this with difficulty before. I'm on a new computer and my assets are contained in a "Collection"--many or all of the videos are in subfolders, and the still images are not. Can you steer me to a place i can learn the arcana of using the file locator? I don't find it to be intuitive, and i have had to fiddle for quite a while before getting it to open the project completely
When you say, "copy the project file", do you mean I need only copy the *.prproj file I'm working on currently, once I've transfered the assets to the other computer?

An issue with smooth scaling after converting to symbol
Hey people! Thanks for getting here. I got an issue with scaling. I take my source image, which is in png, adjust an animation, which includes scaling. It works as it's supposed to, all the scaling is smooth and neat. But then I decide to add some alpha changes into several keyframes. To do so, I convert the layer into a symbol. And as soon as I do that all the smoothness of scaling just disappears. It just leaps from one size to another. Tell me please what am I doing wrong? Thank you for your answers!

Certains rendent de grands services mais d'autres sont la porte ouverte à des téléchargements au moins non désirés.

なってしまいます。何回か違うＤＶＤを入れて試しましたが駄目でした
