Hi, I had the same issue while installing In Design in Mac OS X 10.9.4 and now is resolved
First I could not sign into Creative Cloud to download InDesign so I googled and was able to sort out the problem by changing the name OOBE folder to OOBE.old (you can find this folder in Macintosh HD>Library>Applciation support>Adobe>OOBE)
Once I signed in, I downloaded InDesign and when I tried to run it the message "Your application install seems to be damaged, Please reinstall the application" came up
Then, changing the OOBE.old back to OOBE solved the problem and I was able to run the program
