I have a customer who was using InDesign last week just fine, now it won't open. The program crashes on launch, it gets to "starting panels" then dies. It was InDesign CS6 8.0.0, but we tried updating it to 8.0.2, same results. I'd like to avoid re-install, but will tell the customer it's required if needed. I did read through several of the forum posts and tried deleting the pref and renaming the Support for Javascript.rpln, but that didn't seem to do anything. I did notice if I pulled her InDesign SavedData from a backup (2.5MB) and opened InDesign it would wipe out the file and make a new 52kb file.
